Gap Analysis is designed to help you identify actions that need to be taken to allow you to comply with the Standard.
During this visit, the assessor shall discuss and provide practical advice and guidance on any problems found, together with any improvements that could be made within the systems or the business.
This advice and guidance is given on the basis of their years of invaluable experience within the industry, and is often related back to their own experiences with real life examples. Therefore, you can feel safe in the knowledge that the guidance they provide is correct and based upon sound business principles and the latest industry thinking.
This visit also includes a review of your documented system, to allow it to be checked against the working practice for Improvements to be identified in the documentation or working practice.
Gap Analysis can be conducted at any stage of your certification, whether you are just about to start implementing your systems, or are currently finalising your systems ready for a Certification Assessment.
